Training Tuesdays - Multiply Your Impact: Measure What Matters
NOVEMBER 29, 2022, 7:00PM-8:30PM
Drawing on design principles, session participants will learn how to define meaningful ministry outcomes, use simple tools to measure progress, and reflect on opportunities for improvement. Participants will leave with a framework for applying the ideas shared within their own contexts.
Living and loving like Jesus moves us from the seats to the streets as we take the gospel beyond the walls of our buildings. Once we are outside the four walls of our buildings, we are called to proclaim good news to the poor, heal the heartbroken, set the oppressed free, and comfort all who mourn. Join us as we learn what this looks like in our various contexts.
Elaine Heath is ordained in the United Methodist Church, and has served as a professor for eleven years at Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University, and as Dean and Professor of Missional and Pastoral Theology at Duke Divinity School, Duke University. She retired from Duke to lead Neighborhood Seminary, which she co-founded with several friends.
She is more than an academic, she is a practitioner who lives with her spouse at Spring Forest, a new monastic community in rural North Carolina, where along with friends they tend a forest and small farm. Spring Forest supports refugee resettlement through sponsorships and an ESL program. We also donate fresh produce to area food banks, host a range of spiritual formation ministries, children's programs, and much more.
