Announcing March Healthy Church Initiative Workshops

 

ALL Clergy and Laity are welcome to participate in the March 2012 workshops sponsored by the Peninsula-Delaware Conference Healthy Church Initiative. Each workshop will feature two classes.

Class 1: How to Successfully Lead a Change Process

Class 2: Creating New, Unique Places for Ministry

 

 

The March Healthy Church Initiative Workshop is being held on the all four districts within the Peninsula-Delaware Conference at the following times and locations. You must submit a registration form to attend the workshop! Registration forms are also located on the Conference Web site in the Carousel under the Healthy Church Initiative with the picture of the train. If you cannot make the workshop on one district, please join us on another district.  The District Superintendents encourage all persons, especially those serving in new positions, to attend the training that is being offered.  The workshops are open to everyone.

 

 

Districts, Dates & Locations

Salisbury District: Monday, March 5 at St. John’s UMC; Fruitland, MD

Wilmington District: Wednesday, March 7 at Grace UMC; Wilmington, DE        

Dover District: Tuesday, March 13 at Whatcoat UMC; Dover,  DE

Easton District: Wednesday, March 14 at St. Luke’s UMC in St. Michael’s, MD

 

Registration for all workshops begins at 6:30 p.m.  Classes begin at 7:00 p.m. and will end no later than 9:00 p.m.  Registration form is attached below.

 

Reminder:  Each class will be offered at the same time for the full 2-hour training period.  A person cannot attend both classes on the same night.

 

Join us as we discover how we can make our churches healthy, vital, and effective in making disciples of Jesus Christ!
