UPDATE March 3, 2017

The Memorial Service for Bishop Felton Edwin May will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, Asbury United Methodist Church, 926 11th Street, NW. Washington, DC 20001.  All attending Bishops are invited to participate.
 
The family hour before the service with members of the Council of Bishops  is  9:30-10:30 am.  A continental breakfast will be served.  If you plan to join us, please indicate to Ms. Joyce King (bishopeasterlingoffice@bwcumc.org).
 
The Washington Area Episcopal Office is working to secure a block of rooms of a hotel in the immediate area of the church. Information for the hotel will be sent out as soon as we receive the details. If you are flying to Washington, you should fly into Washington Reagan National Airport and might consider using Uber for local transportation.

We regret to inform you that today, February, 27th,  Bishop Felton E. May has passed away peacefully. The family asks for prayer to uplift them during this time. Condolences can be sent to 3315 Oak West Drive, Apt 123  Ellicott City, Maryland 21043.

The burial will be at the convenience of the family. You will be notified of the service of worship and celebration of Bishop May at a later date.
