As we have sought to be faithful to God's call to mission in the Peninsula-Delaware Conference, Bishop Peggy A. Johnson has made the following appointments effective July 1, 2009 (unless otherwise indicated).

Rev Steve Brannenhas been appointed as a Part Time Local Pastor to North East: West Cecil effective January 1, 2010.

Rev Hannah Bonner has been appointed to Oriole as a full-time local pastor effective November 29, 2009.

Rev James Dorton has been appointed to Wyoming as a full-time local pastor effective October 1, 2009.

Rev. Gary Priddy has been appointed to Chester: Kent Island as a student pastor effective September 1, 2009.

Rev. Martin Wiley will be appointed to Bear: Union effective September 1, 2009. Rev. Wiley follows Rev. Donald Schuler.
Rev. Donald Schuler, retired, will be appointed to Middletown: Bethesda effective September 1, 2009. Rev. Schuler follows Rev. Isabel Gardner.
Rev. Isabel Gardner will be appointed to Elkton: Wesley effective September 1, 2009. Rev. Gardner follows Rev. Wiley.
Rev. Robert Gray was appointed to Salisbury-Walston Switch effective August 9, 2009
Rev. Christopher Pettit was appointed to Royal Oak: Community effective August 1, 2009
Rev. Kun Chon Lee, currently serving Royal Oak Community United Methodist Church, is appointed to North East-Bayview Charge. Rev. Lee follows Rev. Sumner Jones.
Rev. Michael Johnson, currently on Leave of Absence, is appointed to Christiana United Methodist Church. Rev. Johnson is on loan from the Baltimore-Washington Annual Conference and is "an Elder serving less than full time." Rev. Johnson follows Rev. Jeremias Rojas.
Rev. Jeremias Rojas, currently serving Christiana United Methodist Church, is appointed to New Journey-Nueva Jornada United Methodist Church, Reading, Pa., Eastern Pennsylvania Annual Conference. Rev. Rojas is on loan from the Peninsula-Delaware Annual Conference.

Rev. Arthur George, currently serving the Preston: Hurlock Charge, is appointed to the Rock Hall: Fairlee Charge. Rev. George is following Rev. Lawrence Purnell.
Rev. James Bongard, currently serving the Seaford: Wesley Charge is appointed to Vienna: Elliott's. Rev. Bongard is following Rev. Kim Gilson.
Barbara Mills is appointed to serve the St. Thomas Charge. Mrs. Mills is following Rev. David Kreek who retired.
Rev. Beverly Stang , retired from Baltimore-Washington Conference, is appointed to Berlin:Bethany. She is following Rev. Mary Jo Dean, supply pastor from the Presbyterian USA Church.
Rev. Joe Kelly, currently serving Fishing Creek-Hoopers Island, is appointed to Seaford: Wesley. Rev. Kelly is following Rev. James Bongard.
Mr. Clarence Wayman is appointed to the Easton: St. Matthews. Mr. Wayman is following Rev. Purnell Moody who retired.
Rev. Fritz Outlaw currently serving Lewes Charge as interim, is appointed to Easton: Asbury. Rev. Outlaw is following Rev. Purnell Moody who retired.
Rev. Shirlyn Brown, currently serving Pocomoke City-Mt. Zion, is appointed to Preston: Hurlock effective August 1, 2009. Rev. Brown is following Rev. Arthur George.

Rev. Sumner Jones, currently serving North East-Bayview Charge, is appointed to Girdletree-Stockton-Remson Charge. Rev. Jones follows Rev. Sally Russum.
Rev. Carol Carlson is appointed to Salisbury-Riverside Charge. Rev. Carlson is following Rev. Benita Harris.
Mr. Andrew Frick is appointed to the Salisbury-Union Circuit. Mr. Frick is following Rev. Robert Gray. Mr. Frick is also appointed to Salisbury: St. Andrews. Mr. Frick is following Rev. Sally Dolch.
Rev. David Kelly, currently serving Queen Anne-Wye Mills, is appointed to Galena-Warwick effective August 1, 2009. Rev. Kelly is following Rev. Lawrence Jameson.
Rev. Everett LeCates, currently serving the Millington-Crumpton Charge, is appointed to Seaford: St. John's as Associate Pastor. He is also appointed to Bridgeville: Cannon.

Rev. Dr. Lawrence Jameson, currently serving the Galena-Warwick Charge is appointed to the Millington-Crumpton Charge. Rev. Jameson is following Rev. Everett LeCates.
Rev. Beverly Holland, currently serving Lee Haven, Townsend, Mt. Pleasant, Chistiana and Mt. Salem, New Castle, is appointed to Lee Haven, Townsend Brandywine Community and Haven, Wilmington.

Rev. Thomas Morrison is appointed to Woodside Charge. He is following the Rev. Elizabeth Mallozzi. This will be Rev. Morrison's first pastoral appointment.
